4Ever40 Sisterhood Association, Inc. has embarked on a very noteworthy project called “Akbay Pag-Asa”.

“Akbay” means putting ones arm to another, while “Pag-asa” means hope. Hence, “Akbay Pag-Asa” means extending one’s arm to somebody else’ to give hope.

The Founder/President of 4Ever40 Sisterhood Association, Inc. Ms. Rose Demille, visted the Philippines in October 2016 and spearheaded the “Akbay Pag-Asa” project by coordinating with a local church, United Methodist Church, represented by Maria Luz Polinar in Deparo, Caloocan City.  Hundreds of marginalized families in the poverty stricken area where interviewed, selected, and given their much needed hope.

Elementary and high school children whose parents are jobless, some are sick and some are orphans, were selected to be the beneficiaries of the pilot episode of this project.  They will be given financial assistance for “baon, transportation and projects.”

In 2021, 4Ever40 Sisterhood Association, Inc. is extending our scholarship grant to those poorest among the poor students in the Philippines with outstanding grade of 95 + to go to college.  The organization will help them with their tuition assistance, daily allowance and miscellaneous education expenses.
